The new space race is heating up, and Boeing is making its mark with the launch of the CST-100 Starliner space capsule. The uncrewed spacecraft is part of the company's Crew Space Transportation program and is designed to carry astronauts to and from the International Space Station.

The Starliner is scheduled to launch on June 2nd at 12:03 PM from Cape Canaveral, Florida. It will be carrying a crew of three: astronaut Mike Fincke, NASA astronaut Christina Koch, and JAXA astronaut Takuya Onishi.

The mission is expected to last for eight days, and the crew will conduct a series of experiments and tests on the Starliner. They will also dock with the International Space Station and spend several days there.

The Starliner is a significant milestone in the development of commercial spaceflight. It is the first spacecraft designed to carry astronauts to and from the International Space Station since the retirement of the Space Shuttle in 2011.
